Traffic Newtworks

Experts have different opinions regarding traffic netwotks. Some see them as cheating while others view traffic networks as a legitimate way of driving traffic to their sites.

I believe that every site owner needs to have a well balanced approach to driving traffic. I believe that site owners shouldn't rely on one method but a multi level approach that includes:
Traffic Networks (At least during the early days of your new site).
SEO (Search Engine Optimization).
Providing valuable content so that other similar sites will link to you.
Pay Per Click Advertising
Writing Articles for Ezines.

In this post I will provide you with my top 5 choices of Traffic Networks that I feel can provide you with valuable traffic to your site.

What is a traffic network? It's a network that you join and then open a website with your unique identifier. This website will show other websites in intervals of 10, 15, 20, 30 or 60 seconds. For every site that you view, you will earn a credit (or partial credits).

Here's the list:
FivehHits - The best network that I've seen. Earn thusands of credits per day.

JustMorehits - Sites rotate every 10 seconds. you can promote multiple url's.

4-Hits.com - I've earned thousands of hits with this network.

SmileyTraffic - Antoher good traffic network. Offers both manual and automatic rotation.

Autohits.dk - A great way to earn traffic to your site. Earn 4 credits for every 5 sites viewed.

The list above provides you with my top 5 choices in traffic networks. I hope that you find them valuable tools for driving traffic to your site.

When you (or other sites that use "traffic networks" encourage advertisers to pay to advertise on your site based on the fact that you get x number of hits per day, do they know that some percentage of that x number is generated from these "traffic networks" which really has no benefit to them as advertisers - IE: nobody is really looking at their advertisement from this percentage of hits.

Currently there is only one network that pays per impression but only for unique and non-repeating impressions and I'm not violating the terms of agreement. Considering that network's click through rate from my site, they have been reaping the rewards of displaying their banner(s) on my site.
Since the majority of traffic comes from organic search the unique hits beingcounted are by far the majority.
